The link below is a document containing a list of commands and drill movements used by the 1st Arkansas Cavalry.  These drills and commands are the basic understanding of how a cavalry company will move on a battlefield.  In the document, it explains in detail each command or movement as well as examples that shows the movement in motion.  We make no claim that these are academically accurate.  Enjoy!
